The climb to Licancabur Volcano at 5920 m.s.n.m, is an unforgettable experience. The ascent is made for the bolivian side, following an ancient Inca path to the volcano’s crater.
The start of excursion from San Pedro de Atacama, to go to the bolivian border, in there we switch vehicle, then en w ego to the shelter located in front of Laguna Blanca (4.200 m.s.n.m.).
This day we will do trekking for acclimatize, approximately 4 to 5 hours to Juriques volcano, at 5.000 m.s.n.m. We get back to the shelter, and we have dinner.
