The Lascar Volcano at 5600 m.s.n.m., lead us to a unique experience, to contemplate he volcano activity from the border of the crater of the most active volcano in that zone.
We start our excursion from San Pedro de Atacama, to go to the base of the mountain, located at 48500 m.s.n.m.
The travel takes around 3 hours by car. Near to the mountain’s base, specifically in Laguna Lejía, we will have breakfast. We go by bus to the volcano’s base to start climbing.
After 3 hours climbing, we arrive to the volcano’s crater, and there we can see the volcanic activity and their fumaroles.
